When it comes to styling your planner, there are SO many fun options. You can dress her up or down as much you’d like. Frilly and fussy or classic and simple. In a slump? A new planner cover can work wonders. Trust me.

First, lets talk covers. I prefer to put my printed planner sheets into a disc bound system.  Pages are quick to take out or add in and you can bend your planner back in half, which isn’t an option with a traditional binder. There are lots of options for covers. You can get full snap closure covers, or snap in covers, both from the Happy Planner line.  You can go with a plastic snap in cover available at most office supply stores, or amazon, in different colors and patterns.

You will need a punch as well. I recommend this one from the Happy Planner line. Make sure and use your Michaels coupons when you purchase!

You can purchase discs ranging in colors, materials, and sizes at Michaels, Staples, Office Depot, and Mambi. You could alternate colors or keep them all the same.

When it comes to making dividers for your new planner, this can be done a couple of different ways. You can use sticker dividers on your pages, available at most craft stores. You can also purchase dividers and print or hand write some labels as well! Finally, you can find pocket dividers, if you have extra stuff to stash!

Not a fan of the disc bound way? Good ‘ol traditional binders are fantastic as well and there are SO many adorable options out there! Target and Staples have some of my favorites. Make sure and check out the BETTER BINDERS at Staples. They are amazing and pretty much withstand anything.

Do you need some more cuteness?  Add some stickerswashi, use some Paper Mate Flairs, or Ticonderoga pencils! Make your planner make YOU smile!

Finally, do not neglect your paper choice. Consider traditional printer paper, 24 or 32# cotton paper, and kraft brown paper. They all can be fantastic!

Happy Planning!
